What to Expect

This is the most beautiful volcano, the fumarole area of which is the most powerful in the whole world. Having traveled just 80 km south of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, we will find ourselves in a different reality … The snow-capped peaks of hills and volcanoes, the power and majesty of Kamchatka nature.

On the way to the volcano Mutnovsky (in the presence of favorable weather) you can admire near the volcano. Gorely and Vilyuchinsky. And in very clear weather, you will see a number of volcanoes: Opala, Asacha, Khodutka, Priemysh, etc., and of course the uniquely beautiful canyon Opasny with the same waterfall.

The rise on the volcano is not difficult! We drive up on snowmobiles so close that it only takes 30-40 minutes to walk and you are in the crater.

And there …: mud boilers; steam and gas jets and sulfur formations; ancient glacier crawling on the fumarole site and much more …

Believe our experience, Mutnovsky will be one of the most vivid impressions in your life.
